Northern Comfort was formed in 2006 in Kinderhook NY (upper Hudson Valley). Three of our four members have been playing together for many years. The style of music we play can best be described as “classic rock”, however we try hard to select songs that are not played by every other cover band. Our music encompasses blues, rock and folk and we have a number of original songs written by Gary Flood, the band’s founder and Nancy Frey.
